Wow – what a month June was!

Our competition generated much interest in nanookie’s website, the stores and indeed the products and we’d like to congratulate Ms Jane Adair for winning Lua Lua’s gorgeous bespoke mirrored earrings.

A big hello to everyone, and to the wonderful month of June.

June is quite an interesting month!  It holds the longest day of the year ( June 21^st ).   So for the next few weeks we will continue to have increasing lighter and, hopefully warmer, nights.  Let’s hope the weather just keeps getting more pleasant!

Wow it’s May already and what a lovely time of year it is. Things are really starting to bloom outside as well as here on nanookie! We are building up well with the addition of new members and increased site visits. Our monthly traffic is increasing and we are continuing to grow at a pace.

April 2011 is quite a special month indeed. We have the Queen’s birthday (Queen Elizabeth 2^nd) on the Thursday the 21^st, followed by Good Friday the very next day (22^nd). St Georges Day is next, on the 23^rd, and Easter Sunday (Easter day) follows up on the 24^th.  The 25^th brings us Easter Monday and our April bank holiday.  April this year brings the royalist of Britain a very special occasion indeed.  On Friday the 29^th Prince William and Catherine Middleton have their royal wedding at Westminster Abbey.  So, as we can see, there are plenty of great things going on this April. 

March is here and the British summer time is fast approaching (yipeee).  Sunday 27^th March is officially summer time and most of us are looking towards lighter nights and sunshine, but I think we’ll still be dressing with more thought towards the cool fresh days of spring.
